Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 as a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins Inc., the world’s leading provider of power solutions, and Beiqi Foton Automobile Company Limited, a Chinese commercial vehicle company, for the production of light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty diesel engines. The products include Cummins F-series 2.8 liter and 3.8 liter light-duty, F-series 4.5 liter medium-duty, and X-series X11, X12, X13, X11 engineering version and X12N natural gas version heavy-duty engines.
